Prince Charming or Dragon?

Good morning! Today, I'm sharing a notebook I made for a birthday boy born in the year of the Dragon. I find the MFT Magical Dragons stamp set so apt and decided to create a scene with this set for the front cover of the notebook.

I colored the "main characters" before fussy-cutting them out and adhering them to a white background. I then sealed it behind a transparent cover as I wanted to keep the white background clean. After all, this is a notebook and will get dirty over time.

Here is a look at the entire cover. I'm submitting this design for the MFT Sketch Challenge 342, which my layout coincidentally matches. How nice!

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day (or evening)!

Spring Colors

I made this card some time ago but never got around to sharing it online.

I colored this cute Whimsy stamp with Promarkers, before I got my scraps of DSPs together to form a card. I also found a ribbon from my stash to add on to the card.

I finally added some shimmer to the red heart balloon.

I am submitting this card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Spring Color Inspiration.

Thank you for visiting my blog and have a wonderful time ahead!

Nov Farm Fresh Challenge: Fall Colors!

I made this birthday card for one of my "oldest" friends - I've known him since we were five!

I colored this TGF image with copics, using brown for his hair and dark yellow for his shirt to include fall colors.

I'm submitting this card for the TGF Nov Farm Fresh Challenge: Fall Colors!

Thank you for visitng my blog and have a good day!

A Sweet Piggy Card

The latest birthday card for Miss Piggy. She is a pretty and skinny Miss Piggy though. :p

LOTV Kitchen Herbs

Made this birthday card for a friend who loves to cook and grow herbs. As it was the year-end season with tons of presents to wrap and gifts to buy, I made the card in one night.

Its amazing what one can do under pressure!

The "Bird-Day" Card

A simple birthday card using stickers, punches and embossing folders. I had fun putting the different components together.

I love pink. A lot of my cards have pink in it. The colour goes well with any other colours.

LOTV Soccer Boy

My first attempt at making a card for a male. I tried to choose colours that I think are more masculine, such as blue and green.

Another stamp from LOTV which has been retired. Now I own a very valuable stamp. :)

LOTV Present Trio

I made this card for my favourite cousin and am pretty pleased with how it turned out. The bottom image is a bit fuzzy as I did not stamp it as well as I should. Still feel that I need to improve on my colouring...

LOTV Woof You!

The puppy looks deceptively simple to colour, but it didn't come out satisfactory. I will need more practice.

On hindsight, I should have cut the ribbon shorter. Well, a cute "pinky" birthday card for a young girl.

LOTV Chocolate Box

My very first birthday card for a colleague. Took me a while to think of a concept and order my favourite punches and stamps. I am crazy about LOTV stamps. They are such good quality and cute stamps!

The colouring of the image is not that great. Well, it's my first attempt after all. :p
