The Power of Coffee

At the eleventh hour, I managed to make this card for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I was inspired by Channin on the Waffle Flower Youtube channel to create a sepia card with Kraft card stock and brown ink.

For this card, I used the following supplies:
Birdie and cups stamp from Power Poppy Short Stacks stamp set
Sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Coffee and Tea stamp set
Coffee beans from JustRite Coffee House stamp set
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink

A quick and simple card but I love it!
Thank you for visiting my blog and have a good time!

Xoxo

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Bit O' Green

Hello! This card is one of my favorites cos it's floral-related. I just love, love floral theme. :D

Instead of the traditional red, I colored these poinsettia in pink and added white dots to enhance them. The copic markers used are:

R81, R83, R85
YG03, YG93, YG95

I fussy-cut the flowers and added them to a background paper in my stash. For my sentiment, I heat-embossed a greeting from the Mama Elephant 'Just a Note' stamp set.

Lastly, I added a frame and acetate, plus a few white sequins and white butterfly sticker to the background.

I'm submitting this card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Bit O'Green.

That's all from me. Thanks for stopping by. Adios!

The Ton March Challenge

A lot of my favorite background stamps are from The Ton. Their floral stamps are striking, but challenging to stamp as they are so large! Getting a perfect stamp usually involves stamping more than once, which helps if one has a stamping tool like the MISTI.

I do not have the MISTI, so I didn't get a perfect stamp for the embossing. Well, anyway, I went ahead to emboss it with the Rose embossing powder from The Ton and it turned out all right. :)

I then watercolored the largest flower with Gamsai Tambi watercolors, mixing the red and white to get the pink. I thought I will try the shimmer white and it gave the flower a beautiful frosty effect. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture it on camera.

Am submitting this card for The Ton's March Challenge
