Steampunk!

I had this digi from The East Wind for quite a while but just didn't get around to coloring it. I finally did when I was looking to create a steampunk birthday card for a fellow crafter.

I colored the image with copic markers and backed it with a craft card embossed with cogwheel folder and glitter brown strip. I then scattered cogwheel die-cuts to accessorize the card. I also selected colors of brown, orange and yellow, colors of Fall.

Copic Colors used:
Hair: R59, R56, R46
Leather: E29, E37, E35
Machine: T6, T4, T2
Gold: E27, Y26, Y15, Y11
Robot: E37, E08, E97, E21
Attire: BG75, BG72, BG57, BG53, BG11, BG70

I love this card and I know the recipient loved it too! That is the joy of giving : )

I'm entering this card for:
Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge: Autumn.
Creatalicious Challenge #101

Enjoy your time ahead and thanks for visiting my site!

All-Pink Name Card Holder

I started out intending to create a shaker card but it morphed into a name card holder as I went along.

A frame was first created to hold this beautiful card from Lili of the Valley, which I added Martha Stewart's extra fine glitter to turn it into a shaker card.

I then decided to add a name card holder, and a sentiment as the space next to the frame looked empty.

Am submitting this card for the SSS Wednesday Challenge: Think Pink.

Farewell & Best Wishes

I created this card (and another similar one below) when I heard that one of my hubby's long-time colleague is moving on. I used mama elephant's girlfriends stamp set but covered the hair to turn the two left figures into males.

Entering this card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Think Pink.

Hope you like my cards. Thank you for dropping by and have a good day (or night)!
